Staff Profiles

George-

I was born in Lima, Peru in 1967 and immigrated with my parents in 1968. I grew up in Paterson, NJ until the age of 11 and in 1978 we (The Rojas family) moved to North Haledon, NJ where I reside to this present day. I graduated from Manchester Regional High School in 1985 and attended Montclair State University for 2 years, studying accounting. I went on to joins my father’s business in accounting on and off from 1985 to 1997. I also worked at various Accounting firms until 1998 when I then joined my father Luis Rojas’ practice and formed Prospect Park Financial Services, LLC. The company has grown from year to year and is very involved in its community of Prospect Park. I am married to my beautiful wife, Anita Rojas and have two boys, George Jr. and Sam. I was very involved in my home town of North Haledon, NJ where I coached both of my boys in various sports from baseball to basketball to hockey. I enjoy being part of my home town community of North Haledon as well as Prospect Park. I want to help in making the world a better place.

Luis-

I was born in Trujillo, Peru where I earned my degree in Accounting, while also attending 4 cycles at The American Institute to learn English. I married my beautiful wife Hilda in 1966. We have two handsome boys and a beautiful daughter.  We lived in Peru until 1968 when we immigrated to The USA. I started to work for Bornado Co.(Two Guys) department store in the warehouse filling orders  for different stores. I refreshed my Accounting studies at Montclair State College, now University, for one year (part-time).  I then went on to work at Prospect Park National Bank in a management position from the late 70’s to early 80’s. I attended 4 courses at The American Institute of Banking. The bank was sold, then in December 1985 my wife Hilda and I founded Prospect Park Financial Services filing Income Taxes, Accounting and doing Real Estate as well. My son George came on board in about 1998 when we formed Prospect Park Financial Services, LLC. Since then we have been doing our best to serve the community very successfully.  I like to watch Baseball and football, and my wife and I love to travel and enjoy spoiling our grandchildren.

Carla-

I was born in New Jersey, but I grew up in Peru where I attended high school and college. I lived in Peru for 21 years and I came back to United States in 2008. I started working for Prospect Park Financial in 2014 and since my first day, I have learned a lot and I felt happy to work for a company that has as a priority to provide the best service and the most welcome atmosphere for its clients. In PPFS LLC, we have a team that works as a family and, that is exactly how I like our clients to feel when they walk into the office.

Jennifer-

I was born and raised in Paterson, NJ but currently reside in Woodland Park, NJ. I attended high school at Passaic County Technical Institute and college at Montclair State University. I’ve always been eager to learn new things and what I love most about working at Prospect Park Financial is everyone is willing to take the time to teach so we have a better understanding of the work we do. Berlinda-

I was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. I received my Bachelors in Business Administration from Berkeley College where I am also currently enrolled as an MBA student. I have been with Prospect Park Financial for a little bit more than a year and I am proud to say that this is a great environment to be in. Not only am I learning so much about accounting and business operations, but I am around the nicest and most helpful professionals.

Oneidys-

I was raised in Dominican Republic and Spain, I moved to Missouri in 2012, and then to New Jersey in 2016. I am currently going to school for Accounting, and every day I try my best to learn as much as I can to grow professionally and personally. I have a baby boy and he is my main motivation because I want him to look up to me. My favorite food is pizza, and my favorite movie is Home Alone.

John-

I grew up in Clifton, NJ and went to Rutgers University where I studied Economics. I am currently studying at William Paterson where I am working towards my CPA. I pride myself in being a numbers guru. When I’m not crunching numbers, I enjoy playing and watching sports as well as action-packed movies. Big time Yankees and Atletico Nacional fan. Favorite Movie- The Accountant; Favorite Food- Penne with Vodka Sauce!
